Dreaming
17.5” tall, 12” wide, 6” deep (Free standing or wall hanging)
One of my favorite peices, “Dreaming” stands almost 18” tall. The shrine itself is actually an old wall clock turned upside down. The glass door has been removed as well as the mechanism. I’ll use the gears on a future project. The columns that appear to be made of woven reads are cut from a picture frame. The gold accents on the sides are cut from a tin and cast iron kleenex box holder. The round emblem at the top is a drawer pull. The elephant itself is a fiberglass form that was once part of a wall sconce/shelf. The ornament on the elephant’s head is a foot from a silver chafing dish. The bowls holding the pieces of fruit are tin candle holders turned upside down.
