This is probably my most colorful sculpture. The wood base and frame are constructed with pieces intended for a clock. I found them in a box that was destined for a dumpster. If you look at it sideways, you can see a door without the glass. The colored wooden chips are gently used. They were purchased at a fundraiser benefitting an art/music school for sight and hearing, impaired children. The hand carved zebra has so much character, she carry’s almost the entire weight of the scene. A small portion of that weight going to the mindful seagull, concerned for his mutually monochrome friend.
